John Lennon exhibition in REÖK

21. February 2012.
The John Lennon exhibition, titled "The Art of John Lennon", welcomes visitors till the 6th of May. More than 30 works of the ex-Beatles member are available. The drawings, graphics and litographies are from the collection of Michael-Andreas Wahle, a German Beatles fan. One of the specialities of the exhibition is a small statue of Lennon. It's a self-portrait, made from aluminum and wood in 1971.

There are also relics: for example one of Lennon’s sunglasses, a couple of discs, photos, posters and two litographies made by Andy Warhol which present the "meeting" of the two artists.

Factory's offline department has been supporting REÖK for years with editing, creating publications and helping with graphic works.

Multimedia DVD for Knorr-Bremse

18. January 2012.
We received a request to design a platform for introducing braking systems manufactured by Knorr-Bremse. We suggested a multi-media system, where visitors can learn about the structure of the braking systems built into vehicles and the components and roles of the sub-systems.

The 10 sub systems consist of 30 different elements and the elements are presented on a 3D truck, which includes the vehicle and also the trailer. The wires connecting the system components, electrical, pneumatic and signal cables are marked with different colors.

The DVD includes a company profile presentation, ten product presentations, five videos, and Eastern European and Russian partner-, distributor- and service lists.

The multimedia platform was made in Russian at first, and in the future we plan to make Hungarian and English versions as well as to update the product specifications.

New Ad Sales website for Sony Pictures: refreshed structure, new content

14. December 2011.
Last year, the flash microsite aimed at online advertisers has been completed for the European division of Sony Pictures Television Networks. The goal of the site is to further help advertisers collect information by introducing the SPT channels, schedules and target audiences.

There have been a number of changes during the past year: new channels have been launched and the audience size has increased therefore the structure and content of the home page had to be renewed.

The task by renewing the home page was to create a design that is dynamically expandable - by allowing simple addition of new channels – yet expresses continuity to the original version.

We designed three concepts, one of which is now visible on the Ad Sales website. This version showcases channels in an intriguing, yet straightforward way: the main site spreads to full width and channel screens are resized according to the dimensions of the browser window. This solution doesn’t only solve the problem of channel expandability, but also unifies the user experience – now every user will have a similar experience, independent of the quality and resolution of the monitor used to view the website.

Factory won the Family-Friendly Workplace Award

25. November 2011.
Factory Creative Studio won the Family-Friendly Workplace award following the Golden Brain and The Best Workplace For Women 2010 awards. The creative agency creates a playroom, employs a baby-sitter and grants advisory services for colleagues

Factory Creative Studio took over the prize in the Hungarian Parliament on Friday. The Ministry of National Resources distributed the award and the associated financial support to 19 organizations out of 89 applicants. The ministry advertised the competition in four categories: small businesses, medium-sized businesses, large companies and budgetary institutions - and shared 20 Million Forints among the winners. The largest amount of financial support – 1.4 Million Forints – was awarded to the media-communication agency from Szeged and two more companies.

‘There are all together 27 children at Factory. They are from newborns to university-students and three of our workmates are looking forward to newborns’ – said Ildikó Bíró F., the co-owner of the company. ‘It has always been important for us - at our 11-year-old company - to ensure the well-being of our colleagues. We provide many amenities - besides the excellent work environment - to support their comfort and happiness. In addition to the existing extras - like fruit-day, cake-day, free and unlimited tea- and coffee consumption, massages, cooking school, financial support for bicycle purchases, cultural programs and company parties - we wanted to offer something that will support our workmates’ private lives, something that makes them stronger and helps their family.’

The management of the company has decided to spend the financial support on a baby-sitter who will help out parents during work time and create a playroom for the Factory-kids.

‘Even a speech therapist, a family therapist and a nutritionist will be available for our workmates if necessary’ – commented Enikő Lilla Szénási, the Head of HR. She also noted that the target is the sustainability. Factory would like to continue all of these services even after the financial support has been spent.

Farmit Hungária Kft.
"
At the setout of Farmit project, it was crucial for us to prepare all our online and offline marketing-communication tools with a domestic studio in reliable quality right from the shaping of the brand. The results of our cooperation are corporate design elements, printed company materials, press advertisements, PR articles, videos, electronic newsletters, online advertising campaigns and several services running in the background. With its broad service portfolio, creative ideas and flexible performance, Factory proved that we chose correctly. I regard it a momentuous virtue that the colleagues, having a good grip of the latest technological deals and trends, also find their ways within the communicational surroundings of the more traditional markets, and are able to present continuously and outstandingly.
